Software Updates
Would you like to know when new versions of Permission Assist become available? The System Configuration > Software Updates area allows you to enable version notifications so that when a new version becomes available, anyone who is part of the Administrators or Security Team groups within Permission Assist will see a one-time notice on the login screen similar to the example shown below:
When software updates are enabled Permission Assist will compare your system version and plugin versions with the newest versions available. When a new update is available, Administrators and Security Team members will be notified in two ways:

Login Page - when logging into Permission Assist, a one-time notification is displayed (similar to the one shown in the image above).

Email - a one-time email notification is sent on the first day of each month (only if a new version of Permission Assist is available).
To enable software updates, select the Disabled button (see example below).
NOTE: Enabling this option will allow version information to be sent to our servers, but will NOT send any sensitive information such as application privilege information.
